She ends up running into a boy, and they start hanging out and eventually start to like each other. She also fixes an old friendship. I give it a 2/5 stars. It was okay, not the best thing ever but definitely not the worst.

This is about Sadie, who is madly in love with her best friend, Garrett. He goes to summer camp and she gets a job in a coffee shop. She quickly learns that he will never love her back and her friends get together to help her get over Garrett. It's not just a love story though, it's about her finding out who she really is because she tried to be what Garrett wanted, not who she really was. 3.5/5 stars because I liked it, but I was upset because it didn't get into her new love interest very much.

This is a retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princesses. It's about Azalea and her sisters. Their mother dies and they have to go into mourning for a year-which means no dancing. They find a secret, magical place they can dance and their father finds out and sends out a proclamation that whoever can find out where the Princesses dance at night, he will let them stay with the royal family (and perhaps marry Azalea even though he doesn't outright say that). 3.5/5 stars too, I liked it but I was able to put it down whenever I wanted. It wasn't a "i absolutely have to finish this book" kind of book.

This is about a Hazel Grace and Augustus. They both have different types of cancer. They met at a support group and started hanging out. The hanging out turned into liking each other. Liking each other turned into loving each other. It will make you laugh and cry. 3.5/5 stars. It is a quick read, I read it in one day. It wasn't a huge page turner, but I still wanted to know what would happen. I liked it, but it wasn't as good as some books I've read. Disclaimer: It does have some language and a couple pages of a scandalous scene.

This is about Payton's life. Her dad gets MS disease and her parents make her see the school counselor. The counselor suggests she finds something to focus on and write about it. She ends up picking Sean Griswold's head to focus on. What started out as writing and staring at this kids head turns into cycling with him, which then turns into liking him. It's not all about falling in love though, it's about getting over being mad at her father/his disease. It's about her learning to deal with her problems instead of shoving them away. 3/5 stars, it did make me tear up at one point, but it wasn't a big page turner either. Payton kind of bugged me at times. Plus her best friend's name was Jaclyn and she went by Jac, just like me :). It's a quick read, I read it in one day.

She falls in love with her best friend (and foster brother) Sean while trying to fight off her neighbor Harrison's 'growing' love for her. This author writes renditions for Jane Austen's novels. 3.5/5 stars. I liked it, but I feel like it was awkward with their love because they were adopted family, even though they weren't technically family. I do like this author a lot though and Mansfield Park is one of my favorite Jane Austen stories (I've only seen the movie, but I'm hoping to read the book soon).

Her work sends her back to Boston where she meets a new fellow, Allen and keeps running into her ex. She starts to fall for Allen but is still confused about Geoffrey. I give it a 3.6/5 stars. I love a good LDS romance and this wasn't the best, but I did like it quite a bit.

The whole series is about a girl named Susannah who is a Mediator (she helps ghosts get to the other side). It's about her adventures helping out ghosts and the super-mega-foxy-hot (AVPM reference) ghost named Jesse de Silva. He is seriously on the top 5 best fictional men ever. This book is the last in the series and is my absolute favorite in it. I give it a 4/5 stars.

It's about a girl named Molly who's father remarries and she gets a stepmother and stepsister. Molly and Cynthia (the stepsister) become very good friends. It's about their relationship to the Hamley boys, Roger and Osborne. I give it a 4.5/5 stars. The point 5 is missing because the author died before she could finish it so there isn't really an ending (I'm still a little upset about it if you couldn't tell). But it's still really good!

It was a little slow at the beginning, but I did get more into it.

They are sent on a quest to find a particular piece of art. The story trades of chapters of their points of view so you get both sides of the story. 3.5/5 stars. There were some parts that were totally predictable, but I loved it all the same.

This is a retelling of the story of Sleeping Beauty with a modern day twist. Talia is princess and was cursed as a child to touch a spindle and die before turning 16. The curse gets changed to sleep instead of die and she can only awaken by true loves kiss. She ends up touching the spindle and sleeping for 300 years until Jack stumbles upon her and kisses her awake. It's about her getting used to our time and them falling in love. 3/5 stars. It's cute and an interesting idea, I feel like it could have been a little bit better though.

The Way He Lived by Emily Wing Smith is about 6 people who were affected by Joel's death. It's set in Utah and they're all in high school and deal with Joel's death differently. It was a little weird at first, then I realized that we all have an affect on peoples lives, even though we may not realize it. 3/5 stars. I did almost cry at one part and some parts were still a little weird, but whatever. It was still good and interesting.

The sister is in some trouble and gets Jill pulled into it, even though she left. Jill is also falling in love with Scott, an old flame while running away from her sister's crazy ex. 3.5/5 stars. I feel like everything was so rushed, it all happened in a week when it probably should've been at least two weeks.

They don't recognize her so she tries to make up for the past by becoming their friend again without them realizing who she really is. 3/5 stars. There is going to be a sequel, so don't expect it to rush into an ending in 10 pages like I thought it was going to do.

Most of the book is about her figuring out her feelings for John and fitting into her new school. The last little bit finally brings in the plot that the whole series will be about. It's a twist on the Persephone and Hades story. 3/5 stars. I usually really like Meg Cabot books, but this wasn't my favorite.

She has to work with her dad in the mall selling vitamins, her annoying grandma moves in with them, her best friend has ditched her to be popular and she can't realize that she really does like her make-out buddy. 3/5 stars. There's some language. Kate really bugged me the whole story until the end when she finally realized what a butt she was being and finally changed her attitude about things, which made me happy that there was some good character development. And her relationship with the make-out buddy, Will, really bugged me too because she talked about how much she wanted to talk to him, but they always ended up just making out. Finally they started talking and I liked their relationship more, but still.

Throughout the book it goes through their background of their families and how they became friends. It's like a different version of The Fault in Our Stars by John Greene. I liked it better though. 3.5/5 stars. It does have a little language and is a bit scandalous. I did shed a tear or two, so beware.

I basically bawled my eyes out through the whole thing. I loved every minute of it. It is seriously now one of my favorite books. The movie is a bit different but it's still really good too. There is some bad language occasionally and a bit of scandal.

I can't believe I almost forgot Merlin. My sister started watching this show a couple years ago and I would walk past every once in a while and be like "what the crap is this weird show?" and then I started lingering whenever I walked by. I got hooked. The fourth season is the best. All seasons are on Netflix. It is hilarious yet can make you weep at the same time. It's about Merlin and Arthur growing up together and their adventures. It obviously has attractive men in it who just grow more attractive each season. I am seriously so in love with this show.
